I really like the XT. Does it use the same motor as the HPI baja 5T? my buddy has one but being 2wd it's hard to keep straight in the dirt. i think i would much rather have theXT due to the 4wd for handling.

Similar but not the same. The 4wd will handle nice in comparison. Corners is where you can over take the 2wd cars.

The 5T comes with a CY 26cc. The XT comes with an HY 30cc.

I have an XT and I'm really satisfied with it thus far. I can only compare it to 1/8 and 1/10 Nitro and 1/10 and 1/24 electric. The only drawback thus far is that I can't run indoors and the weather in upstate New York is really unpredictable! welcome!
