Don't know where they're getting them from, but they've had the steel and the alloy ones on the same/similar price for a year or so.

i bought the aluminium set a couple of months ago at the same price;)and a samba 7 pipe for 199 euros

I'll say this 'though, I'm 'only a basher' and have been known to go for it a tad. I've had the '4429' full price items, and these and there's no longevity difference.

agreed, i bought these a while back & they were fine, infact when i had a bad crash, they stripped the thread on my wishbone, the actual rose joints were un touched! ..ive since got rid of rose joints on my rear as i found them a pain in the a$$ to setup, im using the elcon extended fixed wishbones now which are great..except for the dogbone issue i had! :)
