can someone pls post a pic of your brake set up?some pix of the linkage, disc etc will really help.i sent my rampage to my bro but he said he doesn't have any brakes..he adjusted stuff but now either it dies when he hit brakes or it revs when he release throttle.he siad its rolling instead of idling ..while engine is off he tried to apply brakes with his finger pushing the lever and he said he can still push truck with no resistance..i never had this problem when i had it.maybe a reult from the last run that i overlooked.can someone pls share your ideas of whats going on?thanks..and yes im posting for him hes a lazy bastard!!

Ok first off. If it dies when he hits the brakes he needs to adjust the idle screw in until it doesn't do that.

If its reving when he releases the throttle his linkage is out of whack. Tell him to set the trims to neutral and loosen the set screws on the collets. Also tell him to adjust his brakes via the set screws near the center diff mount.

thanks thats what i told him..and i think the way my linkage are done,i have them the opposite way...he need to see this.thanks man..i was gonna ask him to pm u coz i kno youre the rampage guru hehehe...

thanks fellas...bro, mannn your linkage are (as obeast would say) "all out of whack" LOL...

i just compared the pic above to what we have, and i noticed that the throttle linkage is attached to the outer horn and the brake linkage is attached to the inner side of the servo...the linkage is in an X form kinda'...out of whack lol...well, hopefully that's the only problem. thanks!

Crossed linkages are used to clear the Baja style air filter. The one in the pics has the angled Shreadstack that allows the linkages to be ran straight.

moflip i replaced the filter on that one with the shreadstack thats y its inclined..so i guess u can do what ron-e have..
