Ok there have been threads for a while on here about broken diff cups. I am curious how many people besides me (knock on wood) have not broken a diff cup[/i]? What are your performance specs/driving style?

Me: I am off the throttle when my trucks are flying through the air. I drive on loose dirt/grass and high grip asphalt. I jump smooth faced dirt piles and fly through the air no higher than 5.5 feet but do not have a landing ramp. They leave the dirt and land flat on the ground from about shoulder level. I run pump premium and 25:1. I have a fast throttle servo [email protected].

Ramp one has 28.5 headkit, MT tires, MT gearing, Xcan, 8k spring, HPI filter, stock carb.

Ramp two has 28.5 headkit, excavator tires, buggy gearing, side dom, 8k spring, HPI filter, stock carb.

They have good acceleration, good top speed, good throttle response, and can jump well. They each have at least 35 tanks on each chassis.

I broke 2 because I over revved the engine when 2 wheels were off the ground and never let off. Other than that NO broken cups. Those were driver error. Since then No breakages what so ever.

All stock out of the box. No tempering. I think they are v1s because the upgrade kit cups were never installed. They have never been apart. Both Ramps are v1. The older one is 2? and the newer one is almost 1? year old. I bought one used and one new. I never even changed the diff oils. No broken bones either. My video is an accurate representation of how I drive. I drive a lot of different places but they are all similar terrain to the vid.

the v1's are better any way IMO

I have broken fronts and rears on my TT some broke when I was running the stock 23cc and some broke when I had the 29cc, I did not see much of a diffrence when I went to the ONB 30.5 ported. the extras all gone so next time have to buy more. I run kinda hard I don't like holding back and I know if you want to play you have to pay hehe.

I have broke two rear Diff cups on my MT with the Stock 23cc motor, and each time I broke them on a hill climb when the rear tire just bumps off the ground for a split sec and still in the power, but its not like im jumping the truck and landing under power it just a little hop and snap

I've not broke anything other than a dogbone pin, wich I replaced with part of a drill bit... I fix I found on here and the t/b servo died, other than that my v1 tt is is stock with a ddm side pipe and has been lots of fun. I drive it hard but no big air, I leave that to my brushless e-maxx's. I also have a all alum mt with a 28.5 and sprint/dom but it's still under contruction.
