don't say things like that, my Mammoth wheels came today, but since I killed my pipe at the weekend I can't go out and play :crying: :cursing: :crying:

+1 on Voo!!
Can't steer with the wheels in the air!! Glad I've got a wheelie bar - MIGHT save it!
My mini Revo was like a performing hampster - if there's such a thing, just relating to the size - and I had to back off on the slipper clutch - all's fine with that now, but not applicable here unfortunately.
Love seeing the wheelie, .... there are limits!! :scared::oops::scared:

Nearly every time I did wheelies with the baja...they would be powerslide wheelies...
It got real ugly real quick....till it ended up on it's roof.

I tend not to make it wheelie anymore....don't want to scratch my bling bling..

i know what your going through, I wanted to do wheelies and spent money getting my MT to do them, now im looking for things to make it stop doing them!

if you really want to lift the front make sure there is no bog on take off, if you haven't already gone one get a 8K clutch spring and make sure youve got some knobby tyres, you wont be able to keep them down once youve done that.

Calic......I see you in Slough? not too far from me in Reading. wherabouts do you run the car then........there is a track up that way i believe but probably only nitro's??

Yeh the buggy dose make lotsa wheel spin when acclerating.. Might as well leave it as it is no point of making it wheelie after wat u guys sed..

Vmlopes.. Yes mate not far from you, I run it in my local park near the M4, we also got a Nitro circuit in Slough but it's rubbish really.. how is the circuit in Reading? If it's good might cum there soon as I also work near reading

4got to ask what kind of clutch and spring do you guys use as my clutch is about to die I think? As the clutch bell keeps on getting loose

I've an Oddified 4-shoe teflon with a 8.5k bite speed - which explains why I'm wheelying all of the time.
Many people change the standard 6k to a red 8k spring.
Some say you can reverse the shoes of the standard clutch for a better bite.
Then you've probably got a choice of about 20 or so ... !!!

yeah, flipping the clutch shoes will give a sharper bite, but it will also put more shock loads through the transmission, which is prob not a good thing unless you have strengthened it.

I've had the mammoth tyres out for a run and they are great. with the body off and a stock exhaust I can make it wheelie :) when I get the tuned pipe back on it should be nuts, I will have to crank up the exponential on the throttle.

Right, there was alot of good choice there, but if you want to keep virtually standard(thanks ,fellas,I learned a bit there) Scrap the head, get a DDM 25.4 kit,668 or 813(Works well) alloy inlet with Teflon gaskets,1mm stuffed and a pipe.....I would use a Samba but up you.Oh,get ceramic's,the run time might be a bit more(cost wise) but they are not a bad buy considering your crank, pretty good.

surley u don't need to do all that to get the front up. reverse the shoes, get the bigger spring, all of $8 im im sure that will be enough to get it onto its roof

My marder doesn't wheelie much either. It spins the wheels out rather than digging in even on grass. The tyres are the FG spikey jobbies & are like new. Probably a gear change would do it but not that bothered really
