How can I exactly test if my engine is 30.5? Because seller told me that ti is 30.5 but I have no idea if it's ported or not, neither if its real 30.5? Also how to check 2mm thing?

If the crank is 2mm it will say on the side of it, it is stuffed so it is a 1mm or a 2mm. You can check the piston just measure across the top of it I think it should be 36mm if not someone chime in plz. As for the porting you should be able to tell by the ports if they have be ground down might be hard to tell with the scratches on there.

I still run full throttle but I kinda count in my head and try hold it no longer than 5 seconds. And now I run the relieved pistons and tune them richer than the standard H/L setting until I see a decent amount of smoke then lean it a tick but I am still a few hours richer than standard settings on my ported motors no more than 2 full turns rich. I still set it and forget it with this method too. Basically I run rich, full throttle for no more than 5 seconds, and occasionally pop the head for inspection.

Good choice..!!

Have you make sur you have bought the good one?

I bet you can trust the guy who told you it was a 30.5, but it take 30 sec. to double check.

I dono if you can really trust someone from ebay...

I just checked the think that holds piston and it says A on it only

I think I don't have ported engine

From the addtional pics on your other post I don't think it was from not running a relieved piston. I think debris in there got loose maybe a circlip? I wanted to add check your crankcase for debris too. The debris may still be in the bottom. If I was you Id seperate the crankcase and thoroughly inspect it. You would prob. need a flywheel puller tool and new crankcase seal BUT its better safe than sorry. You don't want to put your engine back together and find out there is debris in it.
