Fun day out with the 1/5th scales.....the rear hub bearing ended my day before it began...

I threw the stock redcat 2.4 in my sons HPI Firestorm as it came brand new with my used Rampage and it has a range of about 10 feet..the radio looks like a Flysky with a Redcat badge on it..Any ideas??? Im thinking the receiver is bad.

Possibly, the range in those are good. I never seen a range issue in the 2.4ghz.

Crack it open and check out the antenna. Make sure it's securely attached to the board. Open up the transmitter, as well and check the antenna in there.
