here's the first run with my new motor/pipe combo...WOW, running rich and not bedded in yet but huge difference. OBR full mod 4 bolt, ada manifold, 813, shredhead filter intake and VRC propipe.

Wasn't sure the nutech would handle big power but was wrong, takes it so far in it's stride and I haven't even got all the factory mods made for the production version yet which includes stronger, thicker diff housings, sealed batt box, dogbone orings so they don't pop out at the front, upgraded steering screws, new c hub screw system that doesn't come loose, stronger front shock tower, harder diff cup slots (these will be improved again with a new supplier and better steel )

anyhow release should be end of Jan.
Idrove it again back to my pick up after an hour running, can't break this truck and I keep trying, it's the best offroad RC I've ever seen for toughness and durabilty...handles great and is fast even in stock trim...factory support is second to none.

here's a bit of vid from yesterdays run...can't wait for my motor to loosen up cos it has soo much more waiting to give and i really want to start getting some nitro style air as it flies awesome

hey so so you really mean that this is the best gasser you've had or were you getting carried away lol well im half way there money wise so hopefully get one in late january
 
I honestly do mean it's the best gasser i've had , i've hardly had to take a wrench to this after 6hrs of pretty hard running, it's like the energiser bunny...just keeps going and going and going
I don't know of a more durable 1/5 rc and for $1000 it's amazing value....with every other rc I've had or buddies have had you got to dump extra cash into upgrades almost immediately to improve weak parts (or get a bunch of spares to take out with you) I don't even take my toolbox out with this truck now (or dogleash)cos i know i can run for an hour and drive it back to my pick up...
never been able to do or say that before that before running, FG, firehammer, 2 rampages...buddies 5b's or MCD

Only truck I've owned that was real similar was my old nitro LST...that was real tough truck too
