OBR 30.5 Race Ported Top End.....

All ONB 30.5 topends offer huge power gains. I'd talk to them before you order though to see if they can throw in a relieved/lightened piston for a few bucks extra.
 
After reading up some more I am going to purchase the Zenoah 27.2 2 bolt ported top end. I heard there are flaking issues with the CY Ported top ends.

Been running a OBR race ported 30.5 kit for a while and have not had any problem. All so have a race ported GP290 with out any problem. Both are on CY bottom ends and the kits are from CY cylinders.
 
So far things have been running great on the new top-end. The power gains are crazy for a little over $100. I ended up purchasing the 27.2 kit. I talked with the boys at OBR and they said the 27.2 would be great for my XB. They said that you get more Top-end with the 27.2 and more torque with the 30.5.

Thanks for the advice Demon! I got a relieved piston but didn't get the lightened piston. When I get that OBR 4 bolt Zen Long Rod I will. LOL. Will be a while for that!
 
I'd recommend ya hang on to your 29,31 gears for when you get that OBR top end. You'll have plenty of power to run the taller gears. Unless of course your anticipating the release of a new two speed or belt drive from Demon:)
 
I have it already on my MT! LOL With the stock tires it needs to still be geared lower. I have 29/31 gears in it right now. I stuck a set of TT wheels on it and it hauled balls though. I AK thinking about purchasing a set of proline rear bowties for it. I have them on my XB and love them!!
 
There pushin for a release by Christmas. They are trying to keep the cost under 3 bills. Demon has a thread on the statice under projects.
