If you get a chance-- go to OBR website. click on the 3mm stroker long rod engine- you will see a teaser movie - this engine is in a 2wd truck- after the driver flips and restarts- listen very closely, about 3 seconds after the flip - the driver cranks it for about 3-4 seconds. never heard anything even close to this engine--- the dog bones gotta be screaming for mercy!! They say this engine can hit 20,000 rpm- the section of the movie mentioned above -the rpm -s are less than max revs----

yea- it sorta hums at idle - almost sounds electric- but in the few seconds he cut loose after the crash it went into a growl instead if a screaming engine.

Pretty shure this is a hpi 5t, looking at how the front lifts. I camped on a section of the pony express trail 5 miles from the little sahara recreation area in Utah years ago, 12 square miles of free moving quartz sand, there is a place called sand mountian- 600+ tall dune- it is covering full sized pine trees at the top- it would be way cool to see the DDM guys go down there with a on board camera if they got there hands on one of these engines- the movie OBR made is in California- could be Glamis dunes. I stayed -rode dirt bikes in UT for 2 months- when i came home- Cheryl was gone! strange girl------

A buddy and I are taking our 1/5's out to Glamis in a couple weeks. I'll get plenty of video. We'll have 2 5T's, 2 5B's and a MT.

This is such a beautiful case I wounded if they would build one with a billet cilynder to match?
