I'm trying to fire up my engine for the first time and I can't seem to get it to stay on it fires up first pull but ideas for 3-5secs and shuts off why won't it stay on?

Give it a little throttle to keep it running. You have to tune it once its warm.
Black liquid is oil, and thats good. It means you are rich.
Have you looked at the OBR tuning videos?

Yes I did I think my exoughst was not tight enough and was causing blowback. Going to try tomorrow to see if that's my issue
