Wow, not sure, I would have the same question. I hear the new front arms are better then the older model ones. I also hear the RPM's are a good deal better for plastic quality. Could check out HBF for info?

i just went thru this too on my mg race rebuild.

i decided to go with RPM front arms (though if i can, i MAY use the stock hpi upper arms with the RPM lowers). most of the responses on them have been good. don't bend over time as the stockers do, so for racing and continued good setup, they should do the job.

not sure on the new front stock arms, but the Rears have Deffinatly been improved. I choose to use the new Stock rear arms for the race build. we ll see how they do.

Lifetime my friend Lifetime.

Q: What is the RPM warranty policy?

A: It is a common misperception that RPM has a "no questions asked" warranty policy. Although we do have the best warranty in the R/C industry, it is not "no questions asked". The following text describes in detail what our warranty does and does not cover, subject to RPM final review.

If you manage to break an RPM molded product under normal operating conditions(1), we will replace that part at no further cost to you(2). Normal operating conditions covers most types of driving conditions that an unmodified, stock R/C vehicle would normally encounter, including most normal bumps, jumps, and road hazards. RPM will not warranty a broken or damaged part if it has been modified in any way (or if the part breaks due to modifications elsewhere on the vehicle that directly affects the RPM part in question). This includes, but is not limited to, drilling, grinding, filing, etc., nor will we warranty any part that has been worn out through extended use and / or abuse. In addition, it is nearly impossible to crush an RPM part under normal operating conditions, therefore crush damage of any sort will not be covered. Please use common sense to determine if the breakage was caused by a materials or workmanship issue. We take great pride in the engineering and craftsmanship that goes into each and every RPM part. Therefore, we take our customer service related issues just as seriously and we will do everything possible to resolve legitimate warranty related claims. RPM reserves the right to final judgment regarding all warranty issues. Every RPM part sent in for warranty review will be reviewed by a member of the RPM staff to determine whether or not the guidelines of the RPM warranty policy apply.

(1) RPM refers to "normal operating conditions" as normal use of a vehicle for an average user with an unmodified, stock vehicle. RPM parts that are damaged due to excessively tall jumps (or high falls), abnormally fast (or heavily modified) vehicles / runaway vehicles, or run-ins with full sized vehicles are not considered used under "normal operating conditions" and may not be covered under RPM warranty provisions, nor will RPM cover damage inflicted upon an RPM part due to the failure of other products not produced by RPM such as bent or broken hinge pins, shock shafts or axles. Additionally, BMX Tracks, Skate Parks and other such areas dedicated to non-R/C related hobbies are not considered normal operating environments and any RPM parts broken in those types of locations may not be covered. Intentionally damaged parts will never be covered under warranty protection (don't do it - we know what we are looking at and we will check). If in doubt, please ask.

Even after reading all of that. I'm definitely putting RPM arms on mine.

I read it but I don't understand it. LOL

I have RPM,s in my shopping cart. Waiting to be bought.

I havne't ever herd of any one having isssues with anything RPM.

ya, a written warrenty doesn't always read like a warrenty handled. ive had the opposite, where the written warrenty was much better than the actual warrenty. lol

but RPM is typically pretty good. if your straight about what is going on, and how/why the piece may of failed, spoken without an attitude, they ll typically take care of it.

but ya not much of any warrenty is ever no questions asked, but RPMs is certainly one of the best.

part of the reason i opted for the new version of the stockers over the rear, is cuz of the people who have had broken rear upper turnbuckles. i put a set on a buddies car, and it did look lke the turnbuckle hole (or that end of the arm) has a bit more angle than that of the stocker, which looks like it could stress the turnbuckles...

as i understand it, they are supposed to have this quirk taken care of.

not that i can think of. just the arms. you ll actualy have afew parts left over, the camber spacers on the front top arms wont be used any longer withthe RPMs. i took those lil spacers, and ground them so they were Thin enough to fit on the rear lower hinge pin. it took all the back and forth movement of the arm on the hinge pin totally away.

Many people are using them. I seen many racing them at the Nationals. I don't know of any ill effects handling wise.
