Well around 10am I started my XT and let her warm up for about 5 mins. After that she ran like a charm!! Then 10 mins later a squad car passed by me, but at this time my XT was turned off because I was changing batteries on my transmitter. The cop was definatly driving slow because he was looking for someone. So after I changed my battery I started her up!! As soon as I started her, the cop immediately put his car on reverse and processed to my driveway!! He screamed to turn it off, so I did..and he asked me what kind my RC and I told him with a smile on my face. He said I'm not in trouble but my neighbor complained that I was being too loud. Then he explained that the reason why I'm not in trouble is because it's passed 10am ,any noises before that I would have gotten a noise pollution ticket!! Then he asked if he can try my RC and I handed him my transmitter.. he's definitely hooked!! Long story shorter.... Where or what kind of exhaust is the quietest???? I live in an area with ton of old people and complainers.
 
Get the cop on side to buy one and then you could have drag races up and down your street every day at 10.05 . That way the neighbors won't say poop. Lol. The stock can is the quietest but that will suck.

If you add a silencer it cuts the sound by a third.

You might want to add an XBE to your collection. They would be mad because it is quiet. It would then be your fault they could not think of something to complain about. LOL
 
If that was me I would be looking for the absolute LOUDEST pipe I could find. I would run the poop out of it at 10am on the dot every morning, on my own property of course. Ive ran my cars at 3am just to piss my neighbors off. When asked why I politely informed him that I worked nights and when I am trying to get to sleep at 9am I don't appreciate him mowing/weedeating. Then I reminded him about the time I asked him to wait a few hours so I could get asleep before doing it...Surprisingly he didn't recall that conversation at the time....Now he does :D
 
You do need to find out who complained. Then go have a chat. It's funny how people's attitudes change in person. Kinda like the cop.
 
No matter where you live neighbors suck,just a fact of life. Thank God you have two tracks within 45 minutes of each other that you can be as loud as you want.I make it as loud as you can straight pipe alley!

Ohh I have an idea who it was! and I'm definitely going to have a talk with them and ask them what the problem is!!

I'll have to custom make a silencer (somehow unless I can buy one for under $50) but I've already got the slash my girlfriend got me and I can't really spend too much money on a new one because I'm trying to save up for a ring lol

I was at the track by you on monday! It was an awesome time considering I was only there for about 15 becauseI ran outta gas!!

for the sound tho, you could use a baja 5T highflow muffler, there pritty dam good and quiet compaired to silver slugs.(and there cheap)

then if thats still to loud, put a silencer on that

Bummer man I thought I would have the same problem, I have alot of older neighbors also but instead of bitchen they come out and watch me HA , heck the oldest guy even asked me if him and his wife could come down and watch, I asked him if he wanted to try it but he turned it down , I guess in that aspect I am lucky, I would definitely talk to the problem people never know they might come around or at least be able to work something out good luck!
