i had my first 2 tanks and found out the engine heat sink has oil coming out, getting more and more. is that normal ? anyway to stop it from spilling everywhere

That is'nt right you need to remove the muffler and see if it blowed the gasket if not check the head bolts and see if they are loose

That looks to me like the exhaust gasket is leaking some. Try replacing it and see if that helps.

sorry I am new to engine. the gasket is like a ring inside the black box between the pipe and the engine head? thanks

the exhaust gasket I can buy in hardware store? or most likely need to order online? thanks

here are both sides, the gasket is the part between it I guess, but that's attached to the muffler sticking to it, seems not replaceable ?

thanks guys

It's replaceable, it's just stuck on. You'll have to order another one. Better yet, order a few of them in case it happens again in the future. While you're waiting, if you can get that one off the can in one piece, you could clean it up with a rag and put a light coat of high temp sealant on it, it should get you by until the new gaskets come in.

Here's the one you need.

Also, check the head bolts and make sure they're tight.

thanks all you guys. I think gasket I will get some new ones. one last question is, the middle line of the engine also looks like leaking , I am not sure the leaking is from the muffler gasket or right in the middle of the engine. Maybe I need to run it and see, but just want to ask if anyone can tell me from the photo , thanks

It looks to me that the exhaust leak has put some oil on the case gasket. What I would do is clean the lower case, install the new exhaust gasket, and run it. If the cases aren't getting wet without the exhaust leak you should be fine.
