Oil ratio

I've had Gasser motors before but, dare I say, higher quality finely tuned versions. With synthetic oils I used to use 50:1 ratio.


just interested to see what you guys are using with the stock 30cc motor as a middle of the road compromise between revs and protection. I shan't be racing this, just bashing around.

I use 25:1 Kal Gard synnthetic.

I use 4 oz of 2cycle lawn mower oil to 1 gal of petrol. 25:1

I use Evolution synthetic 2 stroke oil.......I am lucky my LHS carries it......25:1 ratio

ive been using my 40:1 weed wacker fuel not sure if that mix hurts or helps but it runs?

Every thread on this on the HPI forums will pretty much tell you 25:1 all day, regardless of engine literature, or oil quality. Just my take from research. I run 25:1 all day.
