I'm only a basher, as they say .....
I was going from what I believed I had read in the past.

Here's a link to their new rigs:

If it's used, then it's a tyre-kickers paradise!!

Seems like they ask £1,200-2,400 new .... plus extras - radio gear, etc. ...

I wasn't far out in my guessing.

That it's USED, is different.
You've seen that Pawn Shop program on Discovery Channel - on History Channel over in America ?
That should give you some good ideas about 'discussing' prices.

NEVER appear too keen - easy advise to give, never easy to take.

Hard to say.
Is it ALL alloy?
Are there many scratches and gouges in the chassis / wheels?
Bodyshells - how many? What condition?
Likewise engine, wheels, tyres .... how are they?

What sort of radio gear is included?

It could be £400 - £1,400 I reckon depending on model, contained and condition.

I've got the 1 on-road, and great as it is, as a 'basher' with a wife and family, I have to consider 'options', and if non-financial, just when would I find the time to use it.
NO would be my answer, personally.
I'd occasionally give the 1 I have a 'make-over' but that's about it.

In the 'garage' are:
1 FG MT
1 FG 1:5.
1 1/8 nitro truck - LST2 / Raminator.
1 extended BL 6S E-maxx.
1 HPI RS4 Rally.
1 MERV.
1 1/18 Raminator.
1 1/36 Raminator.
2 Tamiya tanks.
