rotary wankel, radial, how about some of both and why bother with a moving crank...the human mind infinite in purpose! not the safest, but talk about rotating mass!

Back in high school- the mid 70s. friend of mines dad had a Masda truck with a wankeli that truck reved to the moon. you could not really feel any sensation of this in the cab- there was a small red light in the dash that light up- musta been the red-line- rev limiter? no idea. it shure would get with the program. Long ago, there was a car called a stanly steamer. they still exsist to this day- about 1,000 times more efficent than an internal combuston engine. Where i live, there are big time mountan passes. the longest train tunnel in the northern hemishsphere goes tru on. wayy back- the rail road had locomotives call : the big boy " massive. there are movies on you-tube with these. sorry to say- none survived ww 2. they were all melted down for the war effort. check out you-tube- big boy locomotive- and feel the air-earth shake. D.B. in pilot rork, or.

oh yea, -- back in the 60s- Chrisler automotive had a car with a gasoline turbine engine- i worked with this old man that tested it. said its downfall was that it hauled ass- but made wayyy too much heat inside the car. these still exsist today show pieces- wonder if jay leno has one- he is a big time collector.

O.K. folks-- as usual, i am mistaken. the big boy locomotives are still around. there was a even bigger locomotive that was used to pull stevens pass in washington state many years ago, this steam locomotive was melted down for the war effort.- it was epic to say the least.
