Old school purple HPI Baja

Finally getting around to fixing 26cc bad boy up. When I got this baja on trade I was told it didnt come with a radio and receiver. When the guy showed up with the baja he threw in a traxxas tqi 4 channel radio and receiver. After inspection "after the trade" I realized the antenna wire end on the receiver was frayed. So I ordered another. It finally came in the mail today. After I bound them together I found out the traxxas throttle servo isnt working right.. so.. back to another order lol.. the hitec steering servo with metal steering horn works perfect though. Bummed, really thought my son and i would be ripping the baja and my KM Blade around today. Ah well patience is a virtue right? Any suggestions on a throttle servo that wont break the bank but is reliable?

I've been running a Hitec 5645 since day 1. It's a tank and cheap for what you get. Only problem is you'll need to get a regulator if you plan on running a LiPo rx battery. It runs just fine on a LiFe battery.

I ordered the same one. That's great news. I'm just using life batteries.
