On-Road Leopard conversion

cheers. I am doing a strip and rebuild of the new car. impressed all the bolts have been loktited so far... and another toy came to the door while wrenching...

got my new schedule. no more mising racing this year. I work nights so sun to tues, then sun to wed alternating weeks.. if out of town races are saturdays I am laughing,. and really I can drive back from most places in time to work at night.

I'll be stripping mine down soon. I scored a set of race truck wheels on the Bay in the UK and found a little alloy I'll be adding onto the purchase to.
Lookin forward to my tear down.
I'll post pics as soon as I get my parts.

The wheels/tires were used so thats the only way I was going to get a set. I slammed a bid in at the very last minute (litterally). It came out to $63 shipped to my door, not bad.
What other countries are you looking at for FG parts?

I was thining about getting some FG to HPI Baja adapters to.
As for a body, do the Beetle bodies fit my Leo?
I'd like a fiberglass body.

I know the leo uses the newer style beetle body so i don't know.

the leo is longer than a marder so it would probably be a specific type... I don't know the wheelbase. never had a leo myself yet
