Bought my second Rovan 5B, used 36cc, few months ago. Decided that I don't need two 5Bs so I converted it to a SCT. Cracked the body after a few runs, then I bought a cage for it. As you can see, one thing leads to another. :)
I can use some inputs on the rear wing and front nose panel. Maybe a cannon or a Gatling gun to go in between the windshield screens. :D. Also need some shorter front shocks for on road, where to get them.

Hi mate, to get the shorter shock for on road you can just use limiting cables on your stock shocks, there is a bloke here in the UK that will make custom length cables (swing p) or you can make your own quite cheaply.

Thx. I was told to do that. I can make the cables, just not sure where to mount them. Pics?
Nvm. Found a few vids on YouTube. Not too crazy about having the shocks loaded up like that. I'll do limiting cables if there's no shorter shocks option.

There's nothing wrong with the limiting cables. The shock just wont go through full cycle. It should work fine otherwise
I'll give it shot. I think front suspension is going to be very stiff since springs are somewhat compressed.

What's the best on road tires? RV/KM tires are junk, lasted about 3 tanks. ?
From everything ive read, seems like hostile slicks are the only good option. also running hostile hubs with a 0/1 degree toe setting will make your tires last longer than 3/4 degree settings. But you will sacrifice some handling

Thx. I'll check them out.

Ordered a set of medium compound from DDM. We'll see how good they really are. Also a Gatling gun from China. ???
