Onroad Beetle Plans

Ok so since I have a FG MT now I will use my Marder Beetle for on road only for now. Plans for it are 4x4 kit with a 2 speed. Trying to get a jump on the 4wd Sportslines. Since I sold my slicks I'm gonna buy another set. Also I was wondering if these will fit and if so what tires can I buy for them?

Haven't the foggiest? Wonder why so many sites leave out photos of the squares or at least measurements of what things will fit?:no:

They say 18mm squares. Isn't that FG size?

Those rims are made by FG. I would say 95% of the rims that use the square use the same size. I know FG, Harm, Elcon, Duratrax, MCD, all use the same size squares.

have you not thought about just using the truck slicks thats what ive got for on road i just soften the shocks abit so it sits a bit lower they work well plus the rears are nice and fat 80mm grip realy well once warmed up a bit but sadly aint many on road spots here only a couple nowhere near enough room for me but still good fun

Tires is where you will have a problem. none of the distributors in the US carry just the tires. All of them now only carry the tires mounted so you may be out of luck here in the States. You may want to try outside the US.

Medium on the back ,soft on the front.Thet will heat up in 5 mins and go super sticky if they are PMT.

widened white leopard rims.......but the cost to ship to usa phewwww

I am running med all around, m1 compound. with the wider rear it seems to work out good. but that's on the semi. I don't need more steering
