So now I will be doing some body work since I just got this body and I don't want to buy another. I'm planning on using some fiberglass on the inside and sand and paint the outside. Was wondering if any one has any input on the matter before I start. Its cracked from the lip on the front bumper up into the windshield with a big Hole in the hood area. Any insight would be appreciated ...

the bedliner is sandable .put tape over outside of hole ans spray under neath with bed liner. then use mesh and bedliner on the rest of the inside .don't pull tape till its all dried good.

You think shoe goo would be stronger then fiberglass? Also is it sandable?
Shoe Goo is silicone, so no it's not sand-able. Is it stronger than fiberglass? Yes but no. It's more flexible so it won't break again, but the shear strength of fiberglass is stronger, but fiberglass won't flex very much so it will break again.

Drywall tape (the mesh type found at home centers) and shoe goo will help prevent the body from cracking anywhere if it's applied in high stress areas BEFORE the body cracks. I put it on body as soon as the paint dries.

If that body were mine, I'd duct tape and shoe goo the hell out of it and use it as a basher, then drywall tape and shoe goo a new body. The good thing is the bodies are only 50 bux, at least it isn't a $140 FG MT body!

Keep em on their wheels without hitting anything and the bodies will last for years!

Yea I'm leaning towards just keeping this a basher and buying another just for on road driving. Its looking like alot of work to make it look good. I think ill just give the shoe goo and tape a try to keep it together.

Thanks for the input guys

I just got done putting dynamat on my spare XT body! I'm pretty sure its going to fail since dynamat is just super sticky poster putty and aluminum tape lol and i lowered the body closer and my exhaust is a couple mm away from the body! but it doesn't hurt to try
