After finally breaking down and locating a good used Losi DBXL I bit the bullet and opened the wallet to build a nice basher/racer. I come from many years of racing and got bored and took a year off and after watching videos and some locals 1/5 scale bashers, I was hooked again. Looking forward to parts showing up and getting this started

Here is some pictures of the buggy I purchased. Like new supposedly 3 only 3 tanks, already installed Bartalone un silenced pipe and a GoPro mount on the roof

The long and lengthy parts list , that is on order from DDM (Dave'e Discount Motors) . Can't think them enough for all there help. I'm still researching and there are some other things I will order today

that is a lot of stuff! what carb are you using? and fwiw it does look brand new still.

My DBXL is in a million pieces to atm, getting it ready for next season.

I would like to see some pics/info on this: RCMK Air Filter Set
I haven't been able to find much info on that filter.
Is it a 2 part filter?
How is the size compared to standard filter?
Does standard filters fit in it?
 
It's going to be really nice. I don't have one and don't think I ever will.
The RCMK would be a better buy for me. Spend the big mony up front and save money because all the upgrades have been done. But that will have to wait because I'm building some crazy traxxas 1/5 at the moment. I did do some mods to my Losi 5ive though. Yours should be able to beat a 5ive when your done. Keep up the emting of the wallet project.

Up date!!! I'm currently working with Mr.Park from RMCK to get one shipped to me. Should happen very soon.
It comes with a lightened chassis pan the works right out of the box. Even the diffs are beefed up. CNC Shock towers and a much better looking cage. Factory pipe on a RMCK 29cc motor. I have the Gizmo 30.5 full mod in my Losi 5ive if it needs more poop! It's going to be a fun Christmas!
