As I indicated in my intro post I am the proud owner of a new Dunerunner. I am still working on breaking this thing in but will be looking at mods in the near future.


So far the most popular mods are the 8000 rpm spring and the tuned pipe.


I agree on the spring, especially with the 4x4 but would like any data or experience you have with different exhaust systems. I have seen a lot of opinions but very little data or detailed comparisons out there.


I also would like to get another set of rear tires for the front to take full advantage of the 4wd.

i too own a dunerunner and have experience with the upgrades you are talking about, i don't know if the spring makes much of a difference as i found out today that i have no clutch shoe pads, probably since i bought it, i have the hpi tuned pipe with the team fast eddy clamp, i think that it is a good pipe but if you want to get a better pipe i have heard that the dominator V2 fits with little modification to the roll cage ( just a little dremeling to make the pipe not touch the plastic) as for the rear tires all the way around it works good but i do prefer the fronts on the front, but the rears did work, if you are going to do the rears all the way around i would suggest getting a better steering servo also as the stock one isnt all that great and the bigger tires makes it harder to turn, if you have any other questions send me a message,
