Opinion on all-out competition platform

Gentlemen,
Hi, Im new to the forum and I have a question

An offroad track for 1/5th scalers has been built in brooks, GA. www.vrphobbies.org
Ive always wanted to race 1/5th and even though its about 48 miles to the track, Im planning on doing it.
Heres a few pics of the track.

My question is, out of the MCD Baja1000 EVO3 comp or the Race Runner Evo3 comp, what would be the better competition vehicle?

Right now, the 2wd and the 4wd are grouped together cause theres only 8 or 9 vehicles. If it picks up, they will split the vehicles into classes.

It wont stay that way because the 2wd guys and gals will be very unhappy watching the 4wd's pull around the track much differently then 2wd. You had better think ahead to which class you want to be in. My choice is get one of each and run in both. :clown: 2 and 4wd are two different animals for racing.

of course, and Vince did tell me once it picks up it will be seperated. I have baja 5b, but I want an MCD 4wd. Out of the two (Race runner, or baja1000) which one would make the better racer? Arent they basically the same vehicle w/ slightly different suspensions and obviously different bodies?

Either one really. They are basically the same.
 
That look's like a very cool track. What ever model you decide to get, you will be very happy with the MCD brand. I really like my baja 1000
