Hey guys any of u kno wat size the orings r in the diffs? I got some p8 orings but the fit is loose and doesn't seal well.
 
I used metric o- rings in mine but don't have the size.i bought a metric o-ring kit and sized it from there...
 
well i was told that the p8 would fit but diff fluid leaks out i believe it was metric. don't really wanna buy a whole oring kit just for that one size if i can avoid it
 
Was the shims between the oring and the diff cup pins? I know my shins were missing and diff oil would leak everywhere
 
actually meant to ask that as well cuz ive seen them in the diagrams but mine were not included any way to get them seperatly? i didnt have any issues with leaking fluid until i broke the shaft on a diff cup and tore the original oring and replaced it with wat was mentioned above.
 
I wasn't able to keep diff oil in without that shim as nothing holds that oring without that shim. I ordered mine from McMastercarr but forgot the size...
 
anyone by chance have a diff opened up and can give me the measurements of the shims im missing?
 
no one has their diffs cracked open??? ok rampagemt guess its up to u man. just wonder why they arent installed from the factory but come in the diff rebuild kits... doesn't make much sense

if this is the shimm for the o ring ...which mine did not have still no leaks ...what is the oring size? for the diff box output shaft seal.

seems like #6 or #7 swollen and distorted its hard to tell
