Our next 1/5 Scale Series Race is THIS SUNDAY! It is a special one this week.
It's a non-points Trophy Race; a great way to get some track time in before the 2015 Canadian 5ifth Scale Nationals , and also another event to win. More importantly...
A friend of the RC Acres Club Track suddenly past away. Ian Jones often visited the track, watched some of the races and enjoyed the company. His passing has left his family in a difficult situation in addition to the grieving for his loss.
Racers help racers... and this Sunday's Race is going to become the Ian Jones Memorial Benefit, as we have fun doing what we do, and assist the way that we do when called to the task.
*** Calcutta of Each A-main with 50% of the purse from each auction in support of the Jones Family
*** 50-50 Raffle in support of the Jones Family
*** 100% of Net Proceeds from RaceDay in support of the Jones Family
Pre-Registration is OPEN for our next Ontario Fifth Scale Off-Road Championship Series event, Sunday, July 5th at RC Acres Club!
Please pre-register ASAP as awards and scheduling (duration of mains, qty of quals/mains) is based on pre-registrations.

*******THE IMPORTANCE OF PRE-REGISTRATION*******
Our primary goal is the racers' experience, and we feel that
a) providing as much track time as possible
b) scheduling to have our podiums prior to 5:30p is an optimum finish.
and
c) having podium awards for all mains as reward
allows for us to provide a great experience
Pre-registration allows us to calculate our day in advance and organize an optimum schedule in advance, and ensure that we have the appropriate awards ordered. In addition, it reduces pre-race administration for the Race Director, thus affording an on-time start.
We provide numerous means to pre-register. Please help us to help you.
While we won't refuse a race fee on the day (show-up, go-up), it is in everyone's interest to have our field of racers pre-registered.
