Doesn't look bad just scuff them up with sandpaper. But if it slipping it might be something else.check all ur set screws.and ur clutch holder if the bolts holding it loosened up?

I scuffed clutch and bell, will see on weekend.

Its time to think vented clutch system.

Any recommendation?

I don't think your clutch is slipping at all those shoes look to good you have other issue going on. as suggested have you checked the set screws. What exactly is it doing that makes you think that the clutch is slipping.

It looks like you have the bolts cranked to tight and the clutch can't open ...the only time my clutch looks that fresh is when its new. Make sure the clutch has a tiny wiggle room.

yep, i always do a screw driver pry test to open and demo close.

a flat driver blade between post stop of shoe and free end of opposing shoe , it should open with light twist and fall back without hesitation ...if its too tight it will stay open, do BOTH shoes!

see what happened to clutch after half tank.its 8K red spring , which was too tight to attach, now its too way loosen and burned. 8K spring is died.Every bolts was tighten.Have you success with this clutch ?http://www.davesmotors.com/15448CYHighResponseClutchShoeSpringSet8K.htmlMy experience is bad .Installed stock clutch now.Any recommendation witch clutch to get...

I still think you are trying to cure aids with nyquil... The fan holder is not the issue! Replace the clutch and what it had contact with“cluth bell".. By the looks of one of your picks you was down to metal on metal...your bell may be done and the root of it all.

ok with the pics, i see crispy shoes way overdone, now that the metal in the shoe has "blistered" the bell, the bell is done. no way it's coming back. its thermally changed surface and shape.

possible the VERY first shoe set were just powdered junk wore quickly right to the metal and damaged bell. and the rest have been eaten by the damaged bell.

"wore quickly" if driving around alot BELOW full engagement. like just <1/2 throttle where only partial clutch engagement is dominant you will get premature wear and early failure and a glazed bell...kinda my thoughts on whats going on, like slow torquey high pressure like a rock hopper with too hi gearing. its a guess

bell is still round, no square .

Have I to change bell every time, when clutch fully worn and touched metal to metal?

Not every time... Just keep an eye on it and when the pads are about gone get another set on. Do you run in sand or porous dirt? That will kill the pads real quick.
