finally got off my ass and took some pics after getting a full set of proline desperado wheels.

Tyres are hybrid of proline badlands (front) and clone MX (rear)

i'm still waiting for my local supplier to get me an asgrad body

there were some on ebay, but i think they're gone now ... as you can see, some people are against this, as with me, as long as they're good n cheap, i'm in :D

i haven't run the truck yet with the smaller tyres.... but i reckon they'd make good differenece - much lighter than the MT tyres

i know it sux big time

the back of the body warped from the exhaust heat inside the body, thats why i made a small cut along the bottom to make it look straight again

I have a set of the clone tires nobody seemed to have the hostiles in stock so I got those to hold me over , they even came on baja rims but the rims are junk you can tell they are clone rims , I took the tires off and put them on some new white baja rims and have to say they are nice and meaty .

ran it briefly today with the new sets of tyres on grass and gravel.... great stuff !!!

turning radius has greatly reduced and throttle response is significantly better, the whole truck just feels much lighter... mind that i'm just running the stock mill with an x-can

the clone MX has very good grip even on gravel ... and the slightly slimmer badlands at the front provide quicker and stickier steering

how did you make those wheels work with the stock hubs ?

im assuming there stock since there blue

truck looks sweet my mt looks like that with the same wheels it really reduced the weight of the pig

LOL it was only for picture taking

the baja hubs weren't fitted yet .... i couldnt be bothered to put them on when i was taking the pics
