cheers, i missed that one on topgear, i wonder if the hpi paddles and a good enough engine on gas would copy that, got to be worth ago.
i just picked up a 30cc for it:scooter:

its gonna have a chain drive.:scooter: the place i bash at has about 1/4 mile walk to the dunes and i usally drive the car im using along the track, but im gonna want to take more than one soon so i thought about building a transporter with a few engines in, ive been collecting solo engines and fg rear ends for a while, im thinking along the lines of a argocat copy with 4 engines 8wd chaindrive with discbrake steering, with a trailer to carry 4 to 6 buggys.

Thats one hell of a project your taking on! Keep us all updated its one worth following.
Why not use an mt and a trailer? Or even better MAKE an MT??? You don't need it to function like an FG one ,just something to tow with a bit of torque in it.
Good luck with your project.

naa, thats to easy, theres loads of bajas and fgs with trailers, i want it to look like a kyosho blizzard but with a cab on the back to cover the rear engines, ive got 8 mcd monster truck wheels and tyres to goon it, so it should float aswell

i used to own a vw shop, we built buggys, rails and custom resto stuff, all i got now is a large shed and a 3 car garage thats got a few projects in, but i seem to spend most of my time on r/c stuff

this is my 1973 vw squareback variant, i fitted it to the floorpan of an imprezer, its got 20"x 8" all round and a few other goodies, one day it will be done

N i c e! Imprezza motor in there too!I owned a MK1 Escort Mexico AVO and was going to get it converted into soft top but it was far too expensive for an 18 YO kid but it would of been a one off as I havnt seen one yet!
Get the Variant sorted, flog it, and buy 3 million FG full alloy MT's! ;p.You would get a poop load of cash for one of them.

i was going to run with hpi shox on the front but i didnt want to poke out of the bonnet, what im gonna do is make another shox mount that bolts on the same as the turtle one allready fitted but will take the hpi shox so i can change if i need longer travel and see which looks best in the end
