paint black gear cover ??????

please, what is the way to make black, without paint, the gear cover white PLASTIC??

yes..but I know of dust and boiling in hot water for plastic .... but I can not find an explanation.......

why don't you want to use paint?

Rit dye works for me, but I like green.. Black can be a pain with dye. I usually drop the part in and stir often for a couple of hours.
