Just painted a 5th scale shell, pearl blue with metal ripping open effect to reveal a carbon pattern underneath. The photo's haven't come out great because they were done with flash, usually I photograph in sunlight but that wasn't possible, so the colours don't show up best here. The customer will be posting some when the car is finish that he takes himself.

I'm currently not taking on any more work until the new year as I still have a lot to get through that are already here and more on a waiting list. However I would like to do more 5th scale shells so in the new year if anyone needs anything done give me a shout please.

The latest 8th scale shell just complete,

that leaves 6 here to get done by the new year and then hopefully I can start to take on some 5th scale work.

My next one is a 10th scale Touring Car in 1999 Vauxhall colours, damn these are small, I really need to start working on bigger shells, 10th scale detailing is too fiddly.

Thanks for the kind words fella, really enjoyed this one but could have been so much better and more striking on something as large as a 5th scale buggy shell !

Touring Car should be done by next weekend, that'll be ace !

Been a while since I posted anything finished on here but I thought this would perhaps be more appealing than some of my other work due to it being scale.

Finally I've finished this... Everything is paint and it's super tiny as it's on a 10th scale UK Touring Car from 1999. I so wish this had been a 5th scale as I had to leave detail out of this to get it done. However sourcing the logo's from this car wasn't easy, because it's from 1999 a lot of the logo's have been updated and it took me a while to find good and accurate reference. Luckily it all came together.

I am gutted however that I missed the sponsors from the door sill area as these were just too tiny, likewise the Michelin logo was too small on the front bumper. Would love to do some fifth scale cars like this but I know copy right is an issue with a lot of logo's. For instance I can't touch Red Bull or Monster or anything like that without you ( the owner of the shell ) obtaining permission from them for me to paint your shell in their colours.

If I were to do this on a fifth the detail would be reflected in the price !
