part #500001 why the price differance?

I have been looking around for part #500001 (front lower control arm) red cat has it for $45... I have seen it listed for $27 - $69 I was just woundering why the large price differance? and if the Alum. are worth the $$, It took a hel-of-a hit to break the plastic one.. Full speed in to a wood fence. off centered so that the tire hit 1st.

The price has fluctuated on these fromt he begining. They did start out at $69 early on, but looks like Redcat has lowered the price, so we can all lower the price as well.
