hi everyone, im wanting a buggy, not really bothered about the make, ive got £150 to spend or items i can swap for 1, i would prefer a RTR but i would also be interested in a project buggy, imocated in cumbria but can travel within reason and i will accept posted items, please help me, you can pm me or text on 07703593658

TBH mate you wont get a lot for £150. You might pick up a rough 'no make' car which will be weak and you will struggle to get parts for.

Best advice I could give is save another £100 as you will get an FG Marder in reasonable condition which are well backed up with spares and upgrades throughout the country. The plastics are excellent and can take a beating and once set up properly they are pretty reliable and good fun to own.

same here mate its a money pit hobby theres nothing cheap ive spent more than £150 on single upgrades and everytime out its going to cost you something,,,dwarfys spot on save for a little bit longer and get a marder you wont regret it

im thinking of just buying a fg marder rolling chassis and building 1 myself, good or bad idea?

Excellent idea mate. Renbar built his 1st 1 from ebay parts buying a bit here & there but now he has 1 of the best FG's on here, certainly the best bug IMO.

Once you get sorted with 1 just post on here if you need any spares or parts as we always have something in the bottom of our spares box that might be of use

cheers dwarfy thats made me feel better about the thousands of pounds its cost me to build but at the time was my only option a bit here and there don't notice in the pocket once its up and running then its all good it took a couple of years for me to get it right but its worth every pennie
