So I've been interested in getting a new Rampage MT, but I've just been waiting for the right deal. Well I generally watch my local online want ads for deals on various cars, and today a new Rampage MT popped up. It was listed for $800 using the same promotional picture as all of them on Ebay. I nearly skipped over it thinking it was just a dealer offering a new one. In the title it mentioned modded. I clicked on it expecting nothing spectacular. Turns out, it was a steal, so I gathered the funds, and picked it up.
It appears to be a V2, brand new, and the mods (also all new) include a 4.5hp 30.5 ESP Zenoah, a Jetpro pipe, the good upgraded servos, a metal gear plate and brake supports, and some other minor upgrades. Also included is the never ran stock 26cc, and all the stock parts.
Anyway, it was listed for $800, I offered $700, and he said he is keeping the radio and receiver, so "how about $600?" So YES, I got it for $600 with everything except the TX/RX (which is fine). And it's all brand new! That's cheaper than the motor and pipe alone. I'm anxious to get it going. The only things I plan to upgrade as soon as possible are the gears. It still has all the plastic drive gears. Aside from that, I'll upgrade stuff as it fails. It's a nice rig though, and looks to be pretty stout. I'm excited to finally have a 4WD, and one with some expensive mods already done.
