I used 2 boxes of tintex fabric dye. Ritt is another brand. I just boil the water to get it mixed and toss the dye in. then drop the rims in and use a kettle to top the water up. as soon as the water is boiling I turn the heat off and drop the rims in. with black I just leave overnight. with colors it depends. the longer you leave them the deeper the color. and give the pot a little shake now and then or stir things so the dye gets everywhere. sometimes when things touch or there are air bubbles you can miss a spot. easy enough to drop them back in the pot too in a different position. dyes work really well. and the boiling water is good for the rims to help them not crack.
good score on the car and f1 as well soulstice. you'll be happy. I am loving the on road more and more all the time. I rarely use my off road. actually going to mount my stock f1 tires up to the tb2 as it's 4wd so should be a hoot to slide around the track
