Wow, with the body on she looks like a shelf queen, but with the body off, she's pretty dirty.. LOL

It's too bad you can't race or race as much in the winter over in the UK...
Here in Florida, i can't wait for the winter to get a little cooler, like the 50's F

Congrats on the new addition to your family. That is the reason for my 2 year hyatus.

I like fall and winter. the nitro racing is just ended and we will be allowed to go rip up the track for a few months. Last year we ran on the snow and ice, over all the leaves etc. we were discussing last night when we were going to give it a go. the jumps this year have some insaneness to them. motocross type stuff for 8th scale but will be fun anyway. it's just getting into 5th scale off road season for me :D

have you decided where to buy your elcon parts from are you gonna have

was guna go direct but i've seen a company called sb racing and there doin some deals at the mo ;)

simon at sb racing is the distributer for elcon in england ....he has a few new parts for the leopard on ebay at the moment at good discounts

the coloured alloy is from http://www.krikke.net which is elcon but anodised

red or blue......there are some good prices from krikke for the normal elcon as well as the coloured alloy....but you have to watch the postage costs

i don't think there is any one else in england for elcon

rossmods have the kpd wide front end in alloy for £85 with bulkheads thats a cracking price........................:)
check out on ebay

my Leopard with the elcon was around 3K

they look quite strong, i'll give rossendale models a bell and have a chat with them :)

cheers for the pics mate :cool2:

ELCON alloy is always better but at £85 for a KPD front end well that

aint bad :) the KPD is hard anodised silver(not shiney):nono:and hard to bend

where as the Elcon is made from billet alloy and machined and finished real

shiney but as you have seen quality comes at a price:).....make me an offer

for my Leopard......it has never turned a wheel ...teflon 4 shoe clutch/vented

clutch bell/samba pipe/magura hyd brakes(4)/viscous diff and of course not

forgetting full Elcon alloy
