thanks for asking victor, I also wanted to know if these have the 5mm shafts. if they do I may purchase a set of these to run for now, then convert my stock shocks to the 5mm shafts and keep them for spares.

so anyone know the answer???

thanks for the info, might as well mod my stockers with the list hamster put together... although the pro - piggy backs do look very cool. hmmmmmm. :D

Can't say about the durabililty as I'm still on my two break in tanks, and can't compare them to stock since this is mu first Rampage...But I will say, with the truck body slammed as low as it'll go, they rub just a tiny bit in front. There are two little spots of paint that are worn off on the edges of the hood.Might just move the shocks, I have the towers with multiple mounting holes, so I can just move them down a hole for the clearance. And Ron E is right, they do look cool :)Parker

hmmm.. oh well... I was looking for aluminum caps and found the fast eddys bleeder caps.. nice but they're $40 a pair...

don't the Redcat P-backs have the same length 4mm shafts as the non piggybacks? Maybe the P-backs could be upgraded to 5mm w/the same parts as the standard shocks if the shafts are the same length and bottom cartridges are the same. Anyone wanna be the guinea pig for the P-back 5mm conversion? The cost of the conversion and shocks would be a lot though, yeah.

When I place my order from Rob for a few things, I will get a set of front/rear 5mm shock shafts added. I will try them on my Piggyback shocks and report my finding. It will be a few days before I even place the order.
