Pin retainers

Here's what I did to keep from loosing any pins, I bought the 3/4ODx5/8ID tubing from Ace.

I haven't run it yet but there pretty snug and don't just slide around. I'm going to put them on all the cups too, they actually snug up the dog bone on the slits. I don't think they will flare out under rpm's but I'll see.

I've used a drop of crazy glue with some tissue paper over top if it with another drop of crazy glue.


When I lost the actual pin, I used a snip from a coat hanger, which is what I'm still using now too

break in


I just got done running 2 tanks thru it and they never even moved, I got a rock down on top of the rear center shaft hub and was rubbing while it turned so I need to get them put on the rest of the drive line but I'll do that later after I've had some fun

after running in the snow today and going over the MT after clean up I found these, looks like the retainers did their job and kept the pins from coming out.
