Hi Folks,

I've searched and searched for this, but can't find out the size of the grub screw that holds the pinion to the motor shaft.

Can someone help please? 5x5, 6x6?

I've managed to bugger the standard grub screw (no loctite, worked itself loose, got mangled by spur gear), so need a find a replacement.

Thanks

Kev

take it to the hardware store. they sell set scews, a.k.a. grub screws. i lost one on a drive cup & replaced it w/one from my local mom & pop hardware store. looks just like the one i lost.

cheers Dreggsta. FWIW, if anyone else wants to know, its a 5mm x 5mm grub or set screw.

unfortunately my local huge hardware depot only had 5x10mm, but model shop did have them.

Oops! Just in case anyone reads this, they are M6, 6mm screws, not 5x5.

Sorry about that. Hobby king to the rescue.
