Pipe leaking?

Just got a Jet Pro pipe for my losi dbxl. Seems to run great. Just wondering if any air should be coming out where that blue piece of rubber is that gets clamped down on the pipe? Hope I explained well enough, not sure how else to put it.

Mine did that to you can put some high temperature gasket rtv on it I just run mine

What kind of clamps are you using? I use metal hose clamps like you would use on the heater hoses in your full size car. Air leaks are not good anywhere.

As Scooby implies / says, leaks should not occur - it will compromise performance and also affect the tuning.

I'm using the clamps that it came with. There the metal screw down clamps, use a flat head to tighten them down...Will it hurt anything if I continue to run it with the air leaking out? About to go bash with it today.
