I really likethe way the stock muffler and pipe come out the rear of the buggy. Does the Redcat tuned pipe come out the rear too? I noticed the DDM pipe hangs off outside the body and exits the side also. Any way to keep the scale looks without a MX pipe sticking out and still get decent power?

Sprint77 is the guy to see about pipes. He made my pipe and it is a rear exit setup. He's modded some DDM rear pipes and a CPI big bore(my favorite). The Redcat pipe exits the rear side and I think people have issues with it breaking easily after a crash.

The HPI SS tuned pipe and RDlogics pipe fit but are not as good as a modded DDM or CPI.

Hope that helps...

Evildomain has his info right above. If your on a budget the RD logics and ss are good compromise. I also can do a header only to fit the DOM Fast Pipe from the Dom baja pipe family.

I just got a pipe from Dino for my Rally that shoots down and we tested the mt pipe. I just sent some pics to him and he is changing the front design a tad for more wheel clearance for the stock mt tires. Dino pumps stuff out fast. You just have to ask the right way ;)

I have 3 pipes here he has designed within the last couple months and am sending him my fg this week so he will have a line of on road pipes. I helped a friend get a Redcat MT and wanted a new pipe. The side pipe sits too close to the front tire on the MT. Nobody had ever mentioned that to him so I sent pics. I should have the new redesign of the new design here in about a week since he has to ship stuff to me. We just added an extension from the x port to the header for clearance for now. it was the silencer that was changed to go over the shock tower then point down. I wanted that for the rally mostly so it didn't hit the body.

I don't have one brand of 5th scale. Redcat, FG, Nutech all sit here. I'd own more if I had the room. I have 4 bikes too (3 brands as well)... but as soon as my FG has a Jet Pro pipe, that will make all Jet Pro pipes. I really like the quality, durability and customer service of his. This new pipe will work if you don't run the stock tires (HPI are fine) or have the TT or Rally

don't expect much from the x-can
I'm not wanting much in the way of top end. Just some extra off the line punch. As far as accessive heat build up I wouldn't think it would be any worse than a stock can If I use the large Xport that should help with heat... Shouldn't it?

This isn't a Redcat pipe, but the overall layout is pretty close. This is on my buggy. I just emailed Dino now to ask if he could fit one up to a Redcat, as it would just take moving the mounts a tad.

Hey Pipeous, when I started reading this thread, I emailed Dino.

Since, I have had several back and forth getting him info and more motivation to make this happen...Nice to hear he's right on it.

the side pipe would require some cutting of the body. I just emailed now to see if he has the new pipe done for you guys and I will post pics as soon as they are ready
