Was out running my buggy today and it stalled out on a speed run. Wouldn't start after checking all of the basics so I ran a compression test and only got 60 for a reading. Being that it just died during a run where it was working fine for a few passes is there anything I should consider doing before buying a cylinder kit? I was searching around on the ddm site and they mention if having a problem with low compression to replace the piston ring. Now that would be awesome if it was just a $6 part. Is the ring a common part to wear faster then the rest of the engine? The car has been running real well the past few times out. Started right up 2 pulls and sparky off the line.
