I got the MT out on friday and headed uptown to the rock piles the town keeps for road repair, their around 15 to 18 ft high plus plenty of flat ground for power sliding, man what a blast, this thing goes great, climbs and jumps real nice. how ever on a one wheeled landing and roll I broke an upper tie rod and of coarse no spares so I tapped the arms for 5/16 and stuck in an echaust stud until I can order one and that got me thru the day. once home and checking things over I found that the gear cover was caved in and cracked, the bolt were sheared off on the rear steel reinforcing supports and had to cut slots in them to get the screws out, the center drive train had come lose (and yes I did a prerun on everything) the pinions were loose, on a complete disassembly what I found was that the grub screws felt tight but weren't seating and had to run them in without the shafts in place to get thru the threads. the front outer bearing is lose in the housing and just falls out so I put lock tight around it and put it back in, hope this fills the void, all the bearings will turn in the housings, I don't think they got the fit tight enough and they will spin which will wear out the housing. All in All worth every penny and nothing some TLC won't take care of. Back together just in time as it snowed last night and she's going to get another try today.
