Hello everyone my name's Armand and I'm about 2 years almost three into the 1/5 scale scene. I have a rovan 1/5 scale Baja buggy nothing fancy The issue I'm having is I bought a new carb changed it WORKED PERFECTLY and got a little faster with a tuned pipe. Now all of a sudden it wont start it's not flooded because I checked the plug and looked for wetness or did the necessary steps that I could think of even set the carb back to factory and won't start it pops with choke on then won't do it again other than that I cleaned it properly etc etc but it still won't start WHAT COULD I POSSIBLY BE DOING WRONG??? If anybody would email me at. [email protected] ANYTIME PLZ. I don't wanna have to sell this thing as is or let it sit and buy another and 4get this one

check if the spark plug is good by removing it, attach the plug wire, and sit the spark plug on the exhaust header, then pull the pull starter and look at the tip of the plug to see if there is any spark

when u reset to factory u didn't do them tight the needles did u?as u only need to close them lighty....not with force or u can snap the ends off of them......and get running issues....(n)
try it with kill switch disconnected.....(y)...to rule that out
ru sure u got the fuel pipes on the carb the correct way.....we`ve all done this.....

put about 1/2 teaspoon of oil in cylinder, If it starts then most likely the rovan ring bit the dust. If so you can rebuild the top end or make all your problems go away with a zen long block, Good luck and don't give up......................

Have you checked that the fuel line is not broken in the tank? They tend to get brittle because all companies use the cheapest poop they can get their grubby cleptomania sausages on.
