Do the plugs on these fowl fairly fast even if you run it opened up most of the time? And not rich enough to smoke much...

If you are fouling a plug easily most of the time you are running to rich even if there is no visble smoke the best way to check is to lift your rear off the ground run your engine wide open for a few seconds kill the engine and pull the plug it should be a brown paper bag color if its wet you are running to rich.
