Murphyslaw...You have only seen about 1/3 of my firehammer project..I have not posted it all yet..depends on how much you want to spend money wise for you truck...
To get it for the max all the bing and up grades it will cost over $4000.00 dollars...
best to you on you quest for your own firehammer...AKASlawhammer

Thanks btb and slaw I dono just wanna see som firehammers get an idea what I can do nstuff like that just looking at parts online doesn't help u know what I mean money isn't an issue I want to alloy up the frin n rear is there a kit?

I am not sure about a kit for the rear end for the firehammer... LSF Member Hellya might know......I just used Fg Parts suggested by other member...Fg Diff..stainless steel diff cover..Alloy diff supports....Alloy trans brace....I used the DTX Diff gears in the rear diff..
If you have not done so..I suggest replacing the engine mounts to alloy...You can use the alloy rear shock tower ..that tower sells...I left my A-Arms stock plastic...cheap for breakage pont of impact....There is a kit for alloy front end about $400 dollars...
I can look up the part numbers for ya....AKASlawhammer

Hey thanks slawhammer where did u get the diff I believe mine in metal my whole diff and diff slevere is anodized blue I dono but where did u get all the parts from? Ddm or bigboys ? Tower

murf..I think your diff is alloy ano blue..but you should replace the cover..you have alum
replace it with stainless steel sleeve...If you want a stronger rear diff the Fg is the way to go....FG Rear diff is Fg8484 pretty sure..still need the stainless cover...Get them from DDM
you use the same Diff gears from you firehammer or get a extra set from tower...
The rear alloy diff plates & gear plate you can get from powerslideracing..in austraila
also get some alloy engine mounts.......
your rear shock tower in alloy you can get from powerslide racing or tower...
hope this helps ya out....I think Bigger the Better has some pictures or a totuoral on the rear diff ......AKASlawhammer

Here's mine, the front is lowered a bit now, but this is pretty much it.

I don't believe anyone makes any alloy front or rear arms. The lowers are different than the Firehammer buggy. Plus they are so cheap, it is better to break these than the alloy.

The lower front/rear arms of the Firehammer MT and the Firehammer Buggy are different. Maybe you can use Marder alloy arms on a Firehammer MT, but if you did, you would have to purchase new dogbones to accommodate the shorter width and who knows what else.
