Here is a picture of my MT5 next to my brothers Baja. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be adding an x-can and a race ported 29cc head kit. I did change the clutch spring to HPI's high response spring. It was bogging bad on take off without it. This truck definitely needs more power than a stock cy23. Also the front shock springs are a bit to short, you have to adjust the preload all the way down to take up all the slack. Even then at full droop there is a small gap. I plan to get the RAMTech 20%+ springs to fix this. Over all, this is the best RC I have ever bought.

Like most new vehicles, there are some problems. But, it looks like we figured out most of them now, with either no cost mods, or low cost mods. The aluminum gear plate and FastEddy bearings solved the stripped gear problem.

I just got home from the offroad track. Last race was in September and the track is getting ripped up a bit for a new layout. It's an 8th scale track but a fast track and fun to play on. I used to take the Marder down there all winter... the puddles were massive and leaves everywhere. I dug channels in the dirt with a spike and a stick, used a small piece of 2x4 to push the puddles along ... we are having a big scale meet and greet there tomorrow, so I wanted to get the puddles draining... stupid me forgot the squeegee and my buggy shows it LOL. man that was fun. the drifts coming out of the corner onto the straight over a leaf section about 30 feet was fun. I am still taking it easy, half throttle or less to work the engine in but not many places you can go wide open anyway.... lost a dogbone pin today but Rob had one and I called him when I was coming home and stopped and grabbed one, plus some other stuff... ;) anyway, enough babble, dirty buggy pics

Nigerian Brute Force MT5!!

Here are pics of my MT. This is the Africa Market version called the "Brute Force MT5" Comes with a factory installed 28cc CY engine. Hop ups so far are:
1. DarkSoul-RAMTech Extended Axle Kit
2. 6 Volt 5000mah Hump Battery Pack
3. Outerwears Shockwears Skull
4. Outerwears Pull Start Cover
5. Outerwears Pre-Filter
6. Futaba T3PM 2.5GHz FAAST Transmitter/Receiver.

Awaiting a Jetpro Side Pipe and Hitec Digital servos: HS5745/HS5645. Since ran 2 tanks thru the engine. The axle extenders gives the truck fantastic stability even on high speed turns.
