Well I got a knock on the door this morning, the postman, with a box full of packages and parcels for me.

Lots of baja goodies

GPM shock mounts front and rear
SS rear shock shafts
19/55 Hostile gearset
Bad Horsie shock socks
Innovative pin braces
New radio box
GBE rear engine mount
Rear hub carrier
Soldering tips

So I put the tunes on kicked the missus out and set to

Started by stripping the rear plastic shock braces off and binned them, I then fitted my new GPM items

Then fitted with the Turtle shock brace

Have to say they are a fantastic fit, went together with no problems which is always good.

Next I decided while I had the back end off I may aswell continue at the rear, so I stripped the shocks refilled with 50wt oil and then put them back together with their new covers

Also fitted the new rear Innovative pin braces no shots of them on there as there ain't much to see  but I do have a pic of the old one and the new

So staying at the rear I then fitted my new GBE rear engine mount, this is one nice piece of bling :gunsmilie:

I then set to doing the front of the baja, so again pulled the old plastic towers off and set on with fitting the new GPM items no pics of progress as I forgot

Also fitted the new chrome DDM springs up front along with the Bad Horsie shock socks.

I was also fed up of having to open the radio box to disconnect the killswitch and fed up of not been able to see the LED so I had a plan.

I got some cable and an extra LED, got the soldering iron out and set to. I have now placed the killswitch LED on the engine housing so it can be seen easy enough and I have put a Futaba connection in the break in the cable so I can just pull it apart instead of opening the radio box.

And here she is as she rests now

I'm just awaiting on my diff and drive cups coming back from been welded then it will be ready to rock.

oh I also got the Killer shock limiting cables fitted too, but ain't had chance to test them out.

I'm also going to go through the entire spec list after the TM beach bash just so I know what I have got and what I need :w00t:

Yes 50wt oil with 3 hole pistons, keeps the rear end planted. I run with 40wt in the front with 2 hole pistons.
