I would like to see a one piece diff for the rear. Would be awesome not to have to worry about the rear diff with the extra power of the bigger motors out there. I have seen the one for the 5B/5T in action and holds out very well. My buddy has one and no probs with diff in it from day one.

The prob I have is the pins and diff cups are breaking a lot. Have replaced the diff parts like 6 times now. The cups keep breaking at the spot were the pins are the gears inside are fine.

I don't know why this is in my head but i think i've heard of people using some type of putty in the diff or even using jb weld to simulate a 'posi' but don't quote me!

Silly putty, it pretty much locks up the diff. BUT it can break down after a few months.

A posi diff adapter would be an easy peice to make an adapter of to fit it Rampage diff , eliminating all the spider gears.

Take one of your difs apart and and carrry them to a local machine shop and see what they can do.

The market on this would be way to small for any of us on the forum with cnc machines to set up for it.

Most of us don't want to suffer corner exit that a spool diff hinders.

no doubt I had a locked diff in my savage and it took away all turn ability. you have to take turns slow and be careful not to flip. does heat treating them really make them better?
